A lot of the time, people in the community come together to help those in need during Ramadan.

This year, the Dumex Dugro nutrition campaign is working with MYDIN to help kids stay healthy and get Malaysians to help by shopping every day.

The project’s goal is to help families in areas that don’t have enough services get the food they need and teach people about iron deficiency anemia (IDA) in children.

At the same time, it encourages the public to take part in a simple and meaningful way.

Making Everyday Purchases Support

The campaign will take place in all MYDIN stores in Malaysia from March 1 to April 30, 2026.

During this period, every time you buy a Dumex Dugro product, you help support the cause.

For every pack sold, RM1 will go to charities that help kids and families in need.

The campaign wants to give out about 3,000 packs of nutritional milk to orphans and families from low-income communities through the MYDIN Prihatin program.

In this way, the initiative connects daily shopping with charitable support.

The Dumex Dugro nutrition campaign lets Malaysians help a good cause while they shop for their daily needs by linking their grocery purchases to donations.

Getting The Word Out About Iron Deficiency

Iron deficiency anemia is still one of the most common nutritional problems for kids in Malaysia.

However, without proper screening and awareness, the condition may go unnoticed in many cases.

Dumex Dugro and MYDIN are backing the Generasi Kuat Zat Besi initiative to help solve this problem.

Through this effort, the initiative encourages parents to pay more attention to what their kids eat.

The campaign talks a lot about how important it is to

  1. Testing for low iron levels early
  2. Kids who are growing need balanced diets
  3. Being able to tell when you don’t get enough nutrients

Together, these things are meant to help parents understand how important it is for their kids to get enough iron to grow and develop normally.

Getting Involved In The Community During Ramadan

The campaign includes community engagement activities that are meant to teach families as well as retail participation.

For example, from March 1 to 15, 2026, one of the main attractions is a Ramadan Bazaar booth at Stadium Shah Alam.

Families who come to the booth can take part in activities like

  • Quizzes about nutrition
  • Classes on how to get enough iron
  • Free samples of milk
  • Risk assessments for kids on the site

In addition, the goal of these activities is to make nutrition education easier for parents and kids to understand and enjoy.

MYDIN Stores Reach Out to People All Over the Country

The campaign will also be promoted in MYDIN’s 65 stores across the country, which will help get the message out to both urban and suburban communities.

People who spend RM50 during the campaign will also get a Luminarc jar as a gift with their purchase. This is in honor of Raya and Ramadan.

The Dumex Dugro nutrition campaign is a great example of how stores and brands can work together to help people get healthier and get involved in their communities.

Even if they are small, doing things like going grocery shopping during Ramadan can help kids grow up healthier and stronger.
